(ANSA) – FLORENCE, OCTOBER 27 – Fifty brides that launching as many bouquets from the staircase of the San Miniato church. Here is the symbol image that opens the Fair Tutto Sposi, scheduled from 28 October to 1 November, with 130 exhibitors, including clothing atelier, travel agencies, florists, photographers, jewelers, catering and wedding planners. Interviewing some of these companies, the organization of the fair also has realize a survey that describes the typical format of the Florentine wedding: a year of preparations, an average of 100 guests, a cost of  about 20 thousand euros for the organization and a moon Of honey of 3 weeks. Despite of this, the numbers related to marriage are declining: according to the statistics provided by the City of Florence, marriages have fallen by about 15% since 1990 to today. If in 1990 the weddings contracted in the Municipality of Florence were 2,714, today they dropped to 2,330, about 400 weddings less in 25 years. Between 1990 and 2015, the average age of those who married has grown by almost 10 years: in 2015 the decisive ‘Yes’ comes to men at the age of 40 (39.7), for women to almost 37 (36, 7), while in 1990 the females were married to 27.8 and males to 30.5 years. According to the survey, marriages of couples who already have a son are rising while only one in three chooses the religious ceremony in the church. Finally, religious marriages declined, down from 451 in 2006 to 340 in 2012.
